Joslyn Castle Turkey Trot

Join us for one of Omaha’s most beloved Thanksgiving traditions, 7th Annual Joslyn Castle Turkey Trot 5K Walk/Run at Turner Park in Midtown Crossing on Thanksgiving morning. Burn some calories before the big Thanksgiving meal! We are excited to offer TWO start times for runners this year. Competitive runners will take off at the 9:00am start time and recreational runners and walkers will start at 9:10am. The top 10 male and female competitive runners will each receive a trophy. All runners will receive a 2017 Turkey Trot medal. Runners are entered into a raffle for exciting prizes from local partners including The Afternoon, Cold Stone Creamery, Prairie Life Fitness/Midtown Crossing, and Wohlners Neighborhood Grocery and Deli.

Celebrate the Holiday Season and support the children of Children's Square U.S. A.! Join us at Christmas Enchantment for music, hors doeuvres, and general merriment while browsing the holiday décor and gifts for sale. Christmas Enchantment helps fund the Spiritual Life Program at Children's Square U.S.A., providing holistic mental health options in the care given the children.

This fun evening includes dinner and an all access tour of the historic Joslyn Castle.  A limited number of guests at each Unlocked event get to see behind all closed doors including access to the basement and third floor.  Cost is $65 per person. Joslyn Castle Unlocked also provides a wonderful opportunity to learn more about George and Sarah Joslyn, their many philanthropic contributions to Omaha and the way they lived and entertained within the Castle when it was simply their home. Dinner served at 6:15 p.m. with the tour starting at 7 p.m.
