Joslyn Castle Murder Mystery

Mark your calendar and get ready to answer that infamous question, "Who Dunnit?" The Joslyn Castle will hold its 13th annual Murder Mystery on Thursday, February 23; Friday, February 24 and Saturday February 25. All performances begin at 6:30 p.m. This year's original production is titled "Last Kill & Testament," and the performance will be set in the 1920's prohibition era. Feel free to dress in costume to add to the fun! Tickets are $75 until January 13, 2017. After that time tickets will be $85. Your ticket includes dinner, dessert, a drink from the bar and the production. Proceeds benefit the Joslyn Castle Trust.

Celebrity Chef has become an important tradition for Food Bank for the Heartland. Since 2001, the event has celebrated food and its meaning in our lives by bringing together supporters in the community and showcasing the talents of a notable chef while raising awareness and funding for the Food Bank. Food Bank for the Heartland is thrilled to feature Marc Murphy at the 16th annual Celebrity Chef fundraiser on March 2. Chef Murphy is a featured judge on Food Network's Chopped. He owns and operates several successful restaurants in New York and Florida. Presented by ConAgra Foods and featuring KETV as the media partner, this year’s Celebrity Chef event is being held at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center in La Vista at 5:30 p.m. Individual tickets are $150, and patron tickets are $500. Patron ticket holders are invited to an exclusive cocktail party with Marc Murphy prior to the start of Celebrity Chef and will receive a copy of his latest cookbook. At the main event, guests will enjoy appetizers from local restaurants and a signature cocktail, a culinary demonstration by Chef Murphy during dinner, a raffle and a live auction. The dinner menu is inspired by Chef Murphy. Proceeds from Celebrity Chef benefit Food Bank for the Heartland's mission of providing emergency food for families in Nebraska and western Iowa.
