New Cassel Foundation invites you to join us for Spirit of St. Francis on October 17. The New Cassel Foundation will honor the people and organizations who have been instrumental in providing a dignified life to the aging and the disadvantaged people in our community. New Cassel Retirement Center and Franciscan Adult Day Center are leaders in care for the aging. In keeping with the philosophy of the School Sisters of St. Francis, New Cassel Foundation strives to make dignified life possible for its residents, whatever their needs, whatever their financial resources and for participants of the day center. By celebrating with us and our distinguished award recipients, you are directly supporting people without means and people with Alzheimer’s, dementia and special needs. This year we will honor Bruce and Marlene Haney with our highest honor, the Spirit of St. Francis Award, for embodying the true spirit of St. Francis of Assisi through their lifetime of gracious giving and selfless commitment to the aging person. St. Gerald Catholic School will receive the Lempka Leadership Award for their outstanding voluntary leadership and spirit of giving to the mission and ministry of New Cassel. The Institute for Priestly Formation will receive the New Cassel Distinguished Community Service Award for advocating for the aging person in our community, leading by example to lift up those with needs among our aging population. Enjoy an evening with leaders of our community and learn more about the gift that New Cassel outstanding future of care for the ones we love. Spirit of St. Francis is a benefit for the Helping Hands Fund and new heating and cooling system. Make our mission possible and enjoy and mysterious evening with us!
