Mission: “The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.”

THE AMERICAN RED CROSS is there every day for people all across the country to provide relief following a disaster, to train people in lifesaving skills so neighbors are ready to respond in emergency situations, and to ensure that our military personnel have a means of communication with loved ones should an emergency arise. At the American Red Cross, we continue to be proactive to ensure we can positively impact how we serve our communities - today and in the future - to meet the needs of military families, disaster victims, hospital patients relying on blood donors, and those who turn to the Red Cross for lifesaving training.

Giving opportunities:  

Everyday your donation makes a difference by providing shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in need. Your donation of undesignated dollars to the American Red Cross Heartland Regional Grouping will help us make a difference in the level of service we are

able to provide to the community. The American Red Cross is not a government agency and depends on the generosity of the American people in order to provide vital programs and services.
