Children’s Hospital & Medical Center is a 145-bed non-profit organization that has been caring for the Heartland’s children since 1948. Patients are referred from throughout the region for the treatment of complex and unusual diseases in addition to pediatric primary care. Children’s offers more than 27 specialty clinics and is home to the only dedicated pediatric emergency department in the region.
