Youth Emergency Services (YES) is dedicated to being the source of hope and guidance for at-risk, homeless and street dependent youth by providing shelter and support - and letting youth know that there are people who want to help them turn their lives around. Since 1974, YES has been operating an Emergency Shelter for youth ages 13-18. In 1999, YES started the only street-based outreach program in the Omaha area.

Last year YES opened two new programs, a Maternity Group Home and Transitional Living Facility. These programs not only provide shelter, advocacy and education, but promote personal and family development. YES assists over 5,000 youth annually in its programs.
