14th Annual JDRF Gala is “Big Dreams, Big Hearts…Real Hope for a Cure.”

The fourteenth annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Gala, which has a goal of raising $575,000 for diabetes research will be held Saturday, February 26th, 2011 at the Qwest Center Omaha.

 


 

Janice and Bob Batt are the Chief Dream Officers of the Gala. The Presenting Sponsor is the Janice and Bob Batt Juvenile Diabetes Cure Fund. Event Chair Couples for the event are Dawn & Doug Buchanan, Robyn & Bob Freeman and Susan & Bob Knapp. The theme for this year’s event is “Big Dreams, Big Hearts…Real Hope for a Cure.” A VIP reception will be held at 5:00 p.m, and the gala will begin at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour and silent auction. Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m., followed by a live auction and Fund A Cure* and entertainment.

More than 500 people attended last year’s event, which raised over $542,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
