BLUEBARN’s Witching Hour Presents Fiction/Antifiction: An Exploration of Creation in Three Acts

What does it mean to create? Why do we do it? How is it done? And now, what comes next? In just three short acts, the members of BLUEBARN’s Witching Hour will seek to answer these big questions on stage in their next production, Fiction/Antifiction: An Exploration of Creation in Three Acts.

Starting with the simple prompt: “What do you think of when you hear the word ‘creation’?” ensemble members created three distinct, short plays, each comprising one act. The resulting performance uses movement, dance, poetry, and dialogue to explore why we create, how we destroy, and some broad speculations about how we got here in the first place.

Join us to see creative creators creating on stage in a night of creative creations. Developed by members of BLUEBARN’s Witching Hour. Starring Melissa Carnihan, Shannon Jaxies, Patrick Kilcoyne, Laura Langan, Mary Slater, and Andrew Yolland. Directed by Shannon Jaxies, Laura Langan, Jennifer Pool, Suzanne Withem, and Andrew Yolland

Fiction/Antifiction: An Exploration of Creation in Three Acts runs October 8 – 16, Friday and Saturday Nights at 11pm, following Talk Radio at the Blue Barn Theatre. $10 at the door. 614 S. 11th St.
