Father’s Day Comes Early - The Doo-Dads Bring Kid-Cool Rock ‘n’ Roll to Music & Mozzarella Kickoff Concert

The Lincoln Children’s Museum invites you to experience the thrill of live music in a family-friendly environment with its outdoor summer concert series Music & Mozzarella, kicking off this Thursday, June 17, with The Doo-Dads.

Music & Mozzarella is a free concert series that offers families a chance to enjoy the music of some of the top children’s musical acts in the nation.

To start the 2010 series, the Lincoln Children’s Museum is excited to welcome back The Doo-Dads, a kid-cool rock ‘n’ roll band from Kansas City. Each Doo-Dad is a father and veteran of the music scene, which has enabled the group to put together a great, high-energy live show that contains all of the fun and excitement of a rock concert experience, with content perfect for kids of all ages.

In addition to a great performance from The Doo-Dads, Music & Mozzarella will also provide families with the opportunity to grab a bite to eat with the popular Pizza Pack, while supplies last. Each Pizza Pack includes a slice of Valentino’s pizza, breadstick and Pepsi product for $3.50.

The weekly concert series begins Thursday, June 17, and will run through July 22. Each Music & Mozzarella will begin with Pizza Pack sales and pre-concert entertainment at 5:00 p.m. Each events headliner will take the stage from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and the Lincoln Children’s Museum will remain open until 7:30 p.m. each concert evening.

So make plans now to experience that sounds and smells of summer with Music & Mozzarella, only at the Lincoln Children’s Museum!
