New Director for Nebraskans for the Arts

Nebraskans for the Arts Board of Directors announces new staff leadership of the statewide non-profit; Marjorie M. Maas joins the organization as its Director.

 


 

Maas takes the position after successful ownership of her public relations and marketing consultancy, Palette Promotions. She currently serves as president of the Nebraska Shakespeare Community Board and previously served in such positions as secretary of Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards and vice president of the Bluffs Arts Council.

Regarding her appointment, Maas shares, "Nebraskans for the Arts has dutifully advocated on behalf of the arts community on local, state and federal levels since its inception and is poised for significant growth and prominence. I couldn't be more honored to join the organization's important efforts for the state's cultural wellbeing."

Maas will be the state's advocacy captain affiliate for Americans for the Arts, serve on the Kennedy Center Alliance for Arts Education Network, and run the day-to-day administrative duties of the organization including marketing, membership and board organization.
