ALL(n)1 Security Services Firm Opening Office in North Omaha

ALL(n)1 Security Services, an Atlanta-based multi-million dollar security enterprise, is establishing a regional headquarters in North Omaha, an expansion that promises substantial hiring over the next three years. The company formally announced its plans today at a news conference at Love's Jazz & Arts Center.

The local All(n)1 Security office will be located at 1701 N. 24th St., co-located with Neighborworks of Omaha. The company has hired two people to date for the contract negotiated with the City of Omaha to provide uniformed security at community centers managed by the Parks and Recreation Department. The contract is effective Feb. 1. They hope to grow their employment base to 100 over the next three years.

"We are excited about this announcement because of the jobs and investment it brings to North Omaha. My administration has been committed to expanding job opportunities to citizens east of 72nd Street, and All(n)1 Security is helping fulfill that goal," said Omaha Mayor Jim Suttle.

ALL(n)1 Security is the only nationally certified African-American woman-owned security firm offering a full line of services to businesses and individuals, including security personnel, security technology, background checks and traffic control management. The company's arrival in North Omaha was the result of a collaborative effort, a partnership between the mayor’s office, the Chamber, North Omaha Development Project and the North Omaha community.

"We are pleased to expand our footprint into Omaha," said ALL(n)1 Security President and CEO Mary Parker. "We were particularly impressed with the way the business and public sectors worked together to demonstrate all that Omaha has to offer."

ALL(n)1 Security currently employs a workforce of more than 200 employees company-wide. With the Omaha office serving as regional headquarters, the firm eventually hopes to expand into Iowa, Kansas and Missouri.

“We are delighted that ALL(n)1 Security selected North Omaha as a place to expand,” said Ed Cochran, North Omaha Development Project executive director. “We are confident they will find that Omaha is the right place for their business and pleased they have chosen it for their future regional business expansion.”

"A strategic partnership was established to target and recruit minority-owned businesses to Omaha. It specifically looked for businesses that would be a good match for Omaha and would be able to grow in Omaha. The conditions here had to be conducive to these businesses' growth- strategies. ALL(n)1 met the criteria," said Winsley Durand, the Chamber’s director of minority economic development.

ALL(n)1 Security’s owner, Mary Parker, is chair-elect of the Atlanta Business League. Included among her company’s clients are Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (world’s busiest airport), Atlanta Gas & Light Resources and Fulton County (Georgia).

With many letters of commendation, current clients attest to the work ethic and spirit of true customer service that ALL(n)1 brings with them to the Omaha market. ALL(n)1 Security provides services in three states throughout the Southeast. In addition, the company has offices in Texas, Louisiana and Ghana, Africa.

In October 2010, the National Minority Supplier Development Council honored Parker with the National Supplier of the Year Class II Award. ALL(n)1 Security was selected out of a list of nominees from across the country to earn the top spot in the category of organizations with $1 million to $10 million in annual sales.
