David Cassidy in Omaha for three Valentine's weekend concerts

David Cassidy

David Cassidy

David Cassidy will join the Omaha Symphony in three special performances February 11th-13th at the Holland Performing Arts Center. Cassidy will perform familiar favorites, backed by his band and the full orchestra.

David Cassidy with the Omaha Symphony is presented by The Nebraska Medical Center and The University of Nebraska Medical Center, both sponsors of the orchestra’s entire Symphony Pops Series. Tickets start at $15.

Cassidy skyrocketed to stardom on The Partridge Family. Before the end of 1970, the year the show premiered, Cassidy had the #1 selling single of the year and record of the year, garnered multiple Grammy nominations and won a Golden Apple Award. With this success, Cassidy became the first personality to be merchandised globally. He was responsible for seven chart-topping Partridge Family singles, as well as multiple hit singles as a solo artist. Despite the fame Cassidy enjoyed as a singer, songwriter and producer, he still thinks of himself as an actor. Besides television, Cassidy also starred on Broadway.
