Update: The Salvation Army Tree of Lights Campaign

The Salvation Army continues to ask for the public’s support as its Tree of Lights Campaign continues. To date, the Red Kettle drive is behind when compared to 2010. 

Through Wednesday, December 7, the Army has raised just 42.9% of its $3.1 million goal.100% of every dollar donated stays in Omaha to support more than 20 social service programs. The Salvation Army registered 5,585 local seniors and families to receive holiday assistance compared to last year when 4,887 applied for help. The need continues for volunteer bell ringers today through December 24.  Please call 402-898-6000 or sign up online at ringomaha.org.
