Mayor Jim Suttle to Proclaim July 23rd – 28th "Omaha Comedy Week"


On July 23rd, Mayor Jim Suttle will attend the opening event of Omaha Comedy Week at the Waiting Room Lounge, 6212 Maple Street, Omaha, NE. The event will begin with Mayor Suttle reading a proclamation declaring July 23rd through the 28th as "Omaha Comedy Week". Following the mayor's proclamation, Omaha Comedy Week will kick off with a show featuring Omaha comedy and sketch group, OK Party Comedy. 
 

Omaha Comedy Week is a coordinated effort by Omaha's funniest people to boost awareness, attendance, and participation in the city's growing comedy scene. Shows will take place each night of the week at multiple venues throughout the city. The shows will range from standup, sketch, and improv, to a video showcase.
