More About Film Streams at The Ruth Sokolof Theater
Omaha’s nonprofit cinema is dedicated to the presentation and discussion of film as an art form. Open seven days a week, Film Streams’ Ruth Sokolof Theater features the best new American independents, foreign films and documentaries and celebrates the storied history of cinema with a repertory program of classics, themed series and director retrospectives. Film Streams partners with non-profits throughout the community on film-related events and offers year-round opportunities for students, including a free Student Night the first Monday of every month and daytime screenings for visiting classes.
