The Fashion Arts Collective (Formerly Fashion Institute Midwest) Annual Gala, the Fashion Impact Awards, was presented by the Fashion Guild. The 7th annual gala honored individuals and organizations making an impact on the Midwest through the art of fashion design.
Due to COVID-19, this season we had a virtual satellite gala. Our community hosted individual parties in homes, with hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, silent auction items and logoed masks made by designers to celebrate safely.
This year’s event, held on October 10, 2020, recognized Deanna Bosselman as an award winner for her philanthropic impact on the fashion community. The evening was a big success, raising nearly $30,000.
This money will allow us to keep our doors open and provide support to our area designers. All funds raised will go towards Fashion Arts Collective’s designer education and workroom needs.
The funding from our contributors and sponsors allow us to expand awareness and appreciation for the art of Fashion Design as exhibited through talent right here in the Midwest.
